Lessons Kids Keep
When teaching Orthodoxy to children, our goal is not just to make sure that our kids know things about our faith, but rather to shepherd them in their faith. So how do we do that? On a new "Raising Saints," Elissa Bjeletich, the Sunday School Director at Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Austin, Texas, shares a few ideas.
"It has made a huge difference in my life. I was born an Orthodox Christian and thought I was fairly faithful. Once I started listening to the various podcasts, I began to have a deeper understanding of the faith and have been learning the difference between faith and ethnic traditions that sometimes are taught as being faith."
