Marriage: Investment, Covenant, or Sacrament?
Fr. Richard Rene, the author of The Edge of Mysterion, published by Conciliar Press, and the priest at St. Aidan Orthodox Church in Cranbrook, British Columbia, contends that the predominance of social utilitarianism is responsible for the deterioration of the institution of marriage.
