Ancient Faith Documentaries

Posted by Bobby · Tuesday, August 05, 2014

Do you know about our Ancient Faith audio documentaries? They are located in the archives and are long-form stories on a wide variety of topics related to the Orthodox Church. Thus far, we have covered the golden wedding anniversary of the Hopkos; life at the monastery of the Transfiguration; Orthodoxy and the Cornerstone Music Festival; the Hogar Raphael Ayau Orthodox orphanage in Guatemala City; Wheaton College and the Church Fathers; administrative unity among the various Orthodox dioceses; and the Agia Sophia coffee shop in Colorado Springs. You can listen to each of these at this link here:

These documentaries are extremely fun to produce, and they represent, we think, one of the most effective means of exploring the Orthodox faith, using as they do a combination of music, onsite sound, and interviews to present multiple, in-depth perspectives on a single subject. We would love to create more such docs in the near future and would welcome your suggestions for topics. Please write me at with your ideas. It has been over a year since our last story, so we're due. Let's get it done together!
