Fr. Maxym Lysack
The Very Reverend Protopresbyter Maxym Lysack is the priest of Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church, a multicultural parish of the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople in the downtown of Canada’s capital city of Ottawa. He also serves as Orthodox Chaplain at the University of Ottawa, where he cares for an active chapter of OCF. Ordained a priest in 1983, he holds a Th.M. degree from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology and is completing a PhD in theology, specializing in Orthodox spiritual and dogmatic theology. Fr. Maxym is a sessional lecturer at Saint Paul University in Ottawa and is frequently invited to be a guest speaker and preacher. He is married with two daughters.
