What’s Wrong with Venice?

On a recent research trip overseas, Kh. Krista visited San Marcos in Venice, Italy, a church adorned with looted Byzantine art and iconography. In doing so, she was really hit by the magnitude of the loss of Constantinople, which prompted a reflection on beauty and the sublime.
"It has meant the world to me. I have the computer on upstairs and AFR blaring, so as I’m doing household chores there is all this wonderful Orthodox music drifting downstairs and filling all my senses! What a wonderful environment to be in! Glory to God!"
