March 25, 2012: Luke 1:24-38, Told for Younger Children
March 19, 2012 Length: 2:10
At that time, a young lady named Mary was living in a city called Nazareth.
The angel Gabriel came to visit Mary one day, and said, “Hail, O full of grace, the Lord is with you! Blessed are you among women!” Mary was afraid. The angel said, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you will have a special baby. You will name him, Jesus. “ Mary wondered how this would happen, and the angel explained, “The Holy Spirit will make this happen. The child will be the Son of God.”
The angel then told her that her cousin, Elizabeth, was also having a baby. Mary told the angel that, yes, she would do what God wanted her to do. She said that she would be God’s handmaid.
