Sobre el Cántico de los Cánticos – Parte 3ª

November 07, 2013 Length: 8:55

Having considered in the previous podcast the multiplicity of parallel, convergent, sometimes divergent opinions prevalent today about the Song of Songs, Father Joan goes on to explain how they fail to unlock the true exegetical meaning of the Shir ha-Shirim, offering us an opportunity to reclaim that Orthodox exegetical vision which constitutes a reception of the text in ecclesia, the a priori of any Orthodox reading of the Holy Book per experientia in person.

"I just wanted to thank you for the impact AFR has had on my life. Without the content you put out on AFR, I would probably have never been lead to the Orthodox church! I'm a seeker right now (not even catechized) and due to life circumstances I probably will be for quite some time, but AFR provides me with the guidance I need to keep on the path to Orthodoxy. May God continue to bless you and AFR in many ways!"
