There’s a great quote from Blessed Augustine where he says, “Our hearts were made for You, O Lord, and will not rest until they rest in You.” This principle is also found in this statement from St. Isaac the Syrian, who tells us to look for God in our heart:

Seek God daily. But seek Him in your heart, not outside it. And when you find Him, stand with fear and trembling, like the Cherubim and the Seraphim, for your heart has become a throne of God. But in order to find God, become humble as dust before the Lord, for the Lord abhors the proud, whereas He visits those that are humble in heart.

"Ancient faith radio is a blessing for me. I download podcasts and listen to them in the car, on my lunch breaks, while cleaning and shopping, and whenever else I can. It is teaching me more about the church that I have been a part of since being baptized as a baby."
