Past Attempts at Unity: The Russian Mission in America, Part 2
October 21, 2009 Length: 54:47Matthew Namee continues his discussion with Fr. John Erickson about one of the past attempts at Orthodox administrative unity.
"Being a second generation American of Russian origin, I had a cultural connection to Orthodoxy but no real outlet to connect to it on a personal level. Additionally, the language barrier to participation in the Russian Orthodox Church played a significant role in separating me from the Orthodox faith. Ancient Faith Radio has been a solution to both problems. I had no idea that there was an English-speaking Orthodox community, much less one as rich as I’ve found with AFR."
