Laura Gunn, originally from Birmingham, Alabama, currently lives in South Canaan, Pennsylvania, while her husband attends Saint Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary. She grew up attending Saint Symeon the New Theologian Orthodox Church, singing in the choir, where her father served, and still serves, as the rector. It was there that the roots of her Orthodox faith were planted and her love for both singing and videography began. She has served as choir director and participated in both mixed and women’s choirs, cherishing any opportunity to sing in the services. She also has a degree in journalism and creative media, and launched Fecanin Films--a wedding and filmmaking business. She and Mariana Kurtz have teamed up to develop Miss Ana’s Music Studio, where Laura is thrilled to combine her love for filmmaking and music.
