Mia Hillaker
Mia received a BS in Applied Biology from Kettering University, where she also participated in science outreach programs. She was a research scholar, conducting phylogenetic studies on the bubonic plague, working in the medical field for almost five years. Her thesis focused on neonatal admission rates in the NICU. From there, she moved on to pharmaceutical manufacturing. Now, Mia is following her true passion of being a wife and soon-to-be mother of two boys. She also enjoys teaching science lessons in her church's homeschool co-op!
