Mariana Kurtz, “Miss Ana,” is a music and theater educator devoted to helping families bring the beauty of the Orthodox Church’s liturgical life into their homes. With a deep love for hymnography, storytelling, and beauty-first education, she believes that the songs of the Church can be lived and sung throughout all of life. Most recently, Mariana served as a founding teacher at an Orthodox Classical School in Lehigh Valley, PA, where she cultivated a vision of music education rooted in truth, goodness, and beauty. She currently runs the children’s choirs at Saint Tikhon's Monastery where her family lives while her husband is studying in seminary. As a performing artist, teacher, and online content creator, Miss Ana seeks to inspire both children and parents to sing boldly, pray intentionally, and fill their effervescent homes with sacred sounds. Her hope is to raise up a generation of joyful musicians who will serve and strengthen the Orthodox Church in America for years to come.
