Bad Books of the Bible
More Bible? Discovering the Apocrypha with Traci Rhoades
Evangelical author and blogger Traci Rhoades grew up Southern Baptist, with a stint as a Presbyterian, and ended up in a Reformed faith community—all the while growing in her own appreciation of the historic Christian faith. "Bad" Books of the Bible co-hosts Jamey Bennett and Joel Miller talk with Traci about her experience with the so-called Apocrypha of the Old Testament (i.e., "Deuterocanonical" books) and explore some of the many ways that exposure to Orthodox Christianity has challenged her, enabling her to grow in her own faith. A positive and uplifting conversation that explores how evangelicals and other Protestants can benefit from reading the "Bad" Books of the Bible.

About
A podcast about those books of the Old Testament first written and then mostly rejected by Jews. Later read and then abandoned by (at least some) Christians. The so-called apocryphal books are the Rodney Dangerfield of the Bible—they get no respect. Well, we’re here to fix that. We think these books deserve a little love. Why?
