Fr. Joseph Allen
Living in God's Presence: Part Three
In the third and final lecture, Fr. Joseph investigates how the interface of our narrative story and that of Jesus Christ works, such that we can see the presence of God through that interaction. We all have a unique story we hold up to His, but we must be ready to hear what His story demands of ours through patterns centering on transformation, celebration, assumptions, and rebirth.

About
The late V. Rev. Dr. Joseph J. Allen (1943-2020) was a prolific author, professor, theologian, and director of theological and pastoral education for the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese. He was also the pastor of St. Anthony Orthodox Church in Bergenfield, New Jersey, for over 53 years. Fr. Joseph’s unique storytelling ability, combined with a proficiency not only in pastoral theology—his doctoral field—but also in homiletics, comes through in his lectures, which were recently recovered, edited, and digitized from a long-forgotten set of cassette tapes.
