One day, our Lord Jesus Christ was talking to His disciples. He said, “Whoever listens to you, listens to Me, too. Whoever does not want to be with you does not want to be with Me, either. And, if they do not want to be with Me, they do not want to be with God, who sent Me, either!”

Then, seventy of His followers, who Jesus had sent out to help others, came back to Him. They were happy! They told Jesus that even the demons obeyed them in His name.

Jesus said, “I was there when Satan fell like lightning, out of heaven. I have made you able to do amazing things to show my power over Satan. But, don’t be happy about what you can do. Being able to do amazing things is special, but going to heaven to be with God is even more special! That is something to really be happy about!”

Later on, Jesus was so happy. He prayed, and thanked His Father for all that had happened.

3. What power did Jesus give to His followers?

4. What did He say was even better than that power?

5. When Jesus felt happy, what did He do, right away?

6. How about you? When you feel happy, do you pray and thank God right away?
