"I Really, Really, Really Want to Have Sex"
Maria and Bobby tackles the subject of sexual intercourse in the context of the Orthodox Church—both our desperate and justifiable need for it and the tension that this need creates in Orthodox single lives. They respond to listener emails, interview Dr. Albert Rossi, a licensed clinical psychologist and Christian educator who has spoken and written extensively on the subject of sex and other issues related to morality, spirituality, and mental health, and share the latest in single news. About
Maria Danakas is an unmarried Orthodox woman in her mid-thirties from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Bobby Maddex is likewise Orthodox, only he is a divorced father of four in his early fifties from Chesterton, Indiana. While different in so many ways, both have this in common: They are currently unattached. Join Maria and Bobby as they discuss the highs and lows and the ins and outs of Orthodox Christian singlehood. In this highly interactive podcast, the two hosts share their divergent perspectives on single life and call on you, the single listener, to participate—whether in the form of questions, feedback, observations, or an “appearance” on the program. Please note that this is NOT an advice show. Bobby and Maria are in no way experts on the subject of Orthodox singlehood—nor are they representative of Orthodox singles in the aggregate—and of course their views do not necessarily reflect those of Ancient Faith Ministries. What the pair offer instead is simply a place for Orthodox Christian singles to be seen, heard, and supported—a place of community for those otherwise going it alone.
