About
“I was sick and you visited me.” When we visit and care for others, our Lord Jesus Christ is present simultaneously as the One suffering, the One visiting and the One healing. We are humbled to be in His presence and also called to visit our own wounds. Through His Cross, He alone has the power to heal us and transform our powerless wounds into powerful ministry tools. Chaplain Sarah Byrne-Martelli and Fr Adrian Budica share their own personal experiences in caring for others as chaplains. They invite you to reflect with them on suffering, visitation, and healing from an Orthodox theological perspective.
